I began tutoring in Japan after realizing that many talented students struggled not because of ability, but because they lacked proper guidance and structure. Having studied abroad myself, I understood the challenge of balancing academics, cultural differences, and long-term goals, which led me to create LightHouse as a partner supporting students throughout their journey. What began as one-on-one tutoring grew into a community known for walking alongside students through IB, IGCSE, and university admissions, supported by progress-management tools. Families began calling LightHouse their child’s “academic partner” and even their “doctor for learning.” Today, that vision continues as LightHouse Global, delivering Japanese precision, personalized care, and reliable support to students worldwide.
